MDG for Enterprise Integration Pattern
The Add-in is designed to extend the capability of Enterprise
Architect to allow creation of Enterprise Integration Pattern (EIP) models.
EIP Models
The MDG Technology for EIP introduces a new EIP Model Patterns into
Enterprise Architect. The EIP Model Pattern can be created in the same
way as any other Model Pattern in Enterprise Architect, so see the
Enterprise Architect documentation for further details. Loading the EIP
add-in will add an additional EIP category of models in the Model
Wizard dialog:
EIP Diagrams
The MDG Technology for EIP introduces a new EIP diagram type into
Enterprise Architect. The EIP diagram can be created in the same way as
any other diagram in Enterprise Architect, so see the Enterprise
Architect documentation for further details. Loading the EIP add-in
will add an additional EIP category of diagrams in the New Diagram
dialog:
EIP Technology Menu
The EIP Technology sub-menu is available from the Extensions menu on
the main menu bar.

EIP Message Construction Templates
The Message Construction Templates toolbox
provides the graphical EIP templates for use on EIP diagrams.
EIP Tagged Values
The MDG Technology for EIP makes use of tagged values for assigning
custom properties to the various EIP elements.
EIP Quick Linker
The Quick Linker arrow enables simplify the process of creating new
elements and connectors on a diagram. It displays a list of the common
connectors that can issue from a selected element and a list of the
common elements each connector can connect to.
EIP Portal
The EIP Portal is an entry point to web pages.
